QC Laboratory Manager

Summary:

I am working with a global Pharmaceutical organisation based in Cork that has a permanent opportunity for a QC Manager to join their team. If you have at least 5 years' experience in people management within the pharmaceutical sector, then this could be the ideal stepping stone for you!

Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach and manage a team of Supervisors and Lab Analysts and be responsible to hire, lead and develop team members to ensure that the department has the appropriate talent and level of performance to meet business objectives.
• Control the products (raw materials, intermediates and finished products) by following procedures (general, specific, of analysis and use, and qualification of equipment)
• Organise laboratory activity by coordinating the action of people management, depending on demands of planning

Requirements:

• You will have a degree in an analytical science with a minimum 5 years' experience in QA, QC organization in a regulated environment. Direct experience of an FDA/HPRA approved site is required
• Demonstrated people leadership experience
• Experience with similar analytical methods (HPLC/GC etc), audits
