Fastnet

For several years Fastnet – The Talent Group® has been partnering with South East Technological University (formerly Waterford Institute of Technology which merged with Carlow Institute of Technology), collaborating with the Science department.

On a regular basis our colleagues conduct workshops around Career Choices, CV Optimisation and Interview Preparation. There is always a very high level of engagement with the students during these sessions. The group projects highlight to the students what skills and attributes are required to develop and manage their careers throughout their working lives.

Over the years, we have attended WIT's Science Fair, where our talent consultants meet students interested in pursuing a career in the Life Sciences industry. We work proactively with the Career Services team to help students and graduates gain initial employment, maintain employment, and obtain new employment.
