Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team and help us continue our mission of delivering high-quality biopharmaceutical products. As a Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities in Cork. You will play a key role in managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations:
- Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping pharmaceutical products.
- Implement and maintain efficient inventory management systems to optimize space utilization and minimize errors.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure strict adherence to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high-quality standards and compliance.
Safety and Security:
- Develop and enforce safety protocols to protect employees and products.
- Implement security measures to prevent theft, damage, or contamination of pharmaceutical products.
Logistics and Transportation:
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation partners to ensure timely delivery and distribution of products.
- Monitor transportation costs and optimize routes to reduce expenses.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of cGMP and other regulatory guidelines.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and inventory control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
