Technical Manager - Microbiology

Summary:

I am working with a global food organisation based in the Leinster area that has an opening for a Technical Manager to lead activities and provide direction to the microbiology team. If you are excited by working with a company who provide their clients with innovative and high quality laboratory and advisory services then this could be the role for you!

Responsibilities:

· Lead the overall process of daily production from logistics to release of results.

· Manages the day-to-day operation of the laboratory to ensure smooth flow of samples and testing.

· Build and maintain a pleasant working environment that promotes equality, staff development and good communication.

· Oversees the scheduling of laboratory staff to ensure testing schedules and numbers are met.

Requirements:

· BSc/MSc in Science related discipline

· Minimum of 5 years' experience within a microbiology laboratory environment
