Summary:

Our Dublin-based Biotech client is looking for a Senior Research Associate to join their team to assist with an Industry facing project. If you are a self-starter with hands-on HPLC and SDS Page experience then this could be the role for you!
Responsibilities
- The SRA will be responsible for hands-on laboratory activities related to the project, including but not limited to: lyophilization of protein formulations, measurement of powder properties, measurement of reconstitution time, biophysical measurement of protein structure, conducting stability studies, and analysis of protein stability.
- The SRA will interact directly with the sponsor and will be responsible for technical report writing and presentation of results at project meetings.
- Under the direction of the PM, the SRA will also participate in ordering and shipping, and routine laboratory and equipment upkeep.
Requirements
- A BSc or MSc in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical chemistry, or a relevant related discipline.
- An understanding of basic biochemistry, particularly protein chemistry, would be advantageous.
- Effective oral and written communication skills: report writing, knowledge transfer, and communication skills with the ability to present complex information effectively to a range of audiences
