The Project:


This project is chartered to launch a series of new products from 2020 to 2025.



The Role:


You will develop, characterise and qualify the CNC machining process for a new product in line with existing manufacturing standards. A Pilot Production process will already be developed and so the bulk of the work will be in replication and optimisation. As part of the project team, your work will interact with CAD/CAM engineers, Quality, Process Engineering & Operations to develop, qualify & launch a manufacturing process.



The Candidate:


The ideal candidate will demonstrate a good working knowledge of CNC operation (ideally in titanium but not mandatory), trouble shooting and process development and an aptitude to learn in this area. You will have experience / knowledge of CAD/CAM and have a proven track record for learning new skills. You will need strong interpersonal skills and be able to collaborate effectively to resolve technical challenges.



PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:



  • CNC Process Development

  • Minimise Environmental and Health & Safety effects of your work

  • Adhere to the company's procedures as detailed in the SOP manual

  • Support Regulatory Affairs with product submissions

  • All other duties as directed by direct manager



ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:



  • 1-4 years' experience in CNC.

  • Self-motivated, with focus on Quality, Delivery and Cost.

  • Quick learner & team player.



DESIRABLE CRITERIA:



  • NX Unigraphics knowledge

  • CAD/CAM experience

  • Medical Device experience
