Lead Microbiologist

Summary:

Our client based in Kildare is offering the chance for a Microbiology Lead to join their global food organization. If you have a strong micro background and a desire to be part of an organization who are driven and passionate in making a difference, this could be the role for you.

Responsibilities:

· Lead the overall process of daily production from logistics to release of results.

· Manages the day-to-day operation of the laboratory to ensure smooth flow of samples and testing.

· Build and maintain a pleasant working environment that promotes equality, staff development and good communication.

· Oversees the scheduling of laboratory staff to ensure testing schedules and numbers are met.

Requirements:

· BSc/MSc in Science related discipline.

· Minimum of 5 years' experience within a food laboratory environment.
