Bioprocessing Training Technician 2023

Summary:

Do you have knowledge of biopharmaceutical production operations and equipment, ideally with previous experience in a regulated industrial biopharmaceutical process environment? Our Dublin-based Biotech client is looking to hire a Bioprocessing Training Technician on a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract to provide training and equipment support to the Training Team in their bioprocessing plant and labs covering all areas including upstream, downstream, fill-finish, QC, and support services. The successful technician will be a motivated self-starter, capable of working under their own initiative and as part of a busy training team. If this sounds like you, please read on!

Responsibilities:

• Support training to include equipment and solution preparation pre and post-use (upstream, downstream, fill-finish, QC, Support)
• Daily operations to include COP/SOP, autoclave, parts washer, solution preparation, cell culture
• Implement and maintain documentation for Training (SOPs, production batch records,) according to GMP/GDP requirements
• Ensuring safe operation and maintenance of laboratory and plant equipment. Liaising with the facilities team at NIBRT to resolve problems

Requirements:

• BSc or MSc in a related scientific field such as Life Sciences, Biopharmaceutical Processing, Engineering
• Previous hands-on practical experience of mammalian cell culture would be a distinct advantage
• Previous hands-on practical experience in preparation of processing equipment including bioreactors, chromatography column packing, autoclaves, parts washers, COP, and SOP of stainless-steel vessels
