With the Life Sciences sector ever-expanding, in addition to organisations like Fastnet – The Talent Group continually considering candidate sectoral ‘conversion’ opportunities right now, there has been a call to students at third, second and primary-levels to engage in STEM subjects and activities. To contribute to this nationwide initiative, we are bringing our knowledge of STEM and the opportunities available in the sector on the road and are now visiting third-level colleges and secondary schools around the country.
Our specialist Talent Consultants are meeting with students offering information, advice and encouragement on STEM subjects and future careers in the Life Sciences sector. With Fastnet – The Talent Group’s vast experience in the areas of Quality & Laboratory, Engineering, Supply Chain & Manufacturing Operations and IT & Finance, our consultants can really inform and inspire young adults and children to explore and engage in STEM.
Claire McGuckin (Business Unit Lead, Quality & Laboratory) and Ryan Malone (Talent Consultant, Quality & Laboratory) will be in Waterford Institute of Technology on Monday, 23rd April offering advice and support to final year students hoping to break into the Life Sciences Sector.
Our Specialist Talent Consultants will facilitate a number of CV Workshops with students, giving them inside industry knowledge on the Do's and Dont's of CV writing, as well as offer top tips and tricks on how to gain excellent work placement and graduate opportunities within the growing sector.
