Data Analyst

Summary:

Our Cork based Biopharma client is looking for a Data Analyst to join their team on a 12 month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistics, and programming, with a proven ability to utilize Alteryx for data manipulation, transformation, and visualization. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in extracting insights from large datasets, optimizing processes, and providing actionable recommendations to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Alteryx to extract, clean, and transform data from various sources to prepare it for analysis.
• Develop and maintain Alteryx workflows for automating repetitive data tasks and improving efficiency.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Design and implement data visualizations and dashboards using Alteryx and other BI tools to communicate insights effectively.
• Monitor data quality and integrity, troubleshoot data-related issues, and implement solutions to ensure accuracy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a strong focus on data manipulation and analysis.
• Proficiency in Alteryx Designer, including experience with data blending, spatial analysis, predictive analytics, and macros.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data from relational databases.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
• Alteryx Designer certification is preferred but not required.
